What we collect when you get in touch, sign up or open a deck we sent you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

SYNAPPRO LTD, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, is responsible for the personal data described here.

What we collect, and why

  • When you book a workshop, ask about a display pilot or contact us: your name, email address, organisation, your message, and the choices you make on the form (such as the format and group size). We use these to reply to you and to arrange anything you ask for.
  • When you join the newsletter: your email address, to send you the newsletter. Every issue has a link to unsubscribe.
  • When you join the Android waitlist: your name and email address, to tell you when the app is available.
  • When you open a deck we sent you: each shared deck link can carry the name of the organisation it was sent to, and records which pages were viewed and for how long. See shared deck links.
  • When you browse the site: anonymous visit counts only, described in our cookie policy.

We use this information because you asked us to get in touch or to sign up, or because it is in our legitimate interests to follow up on enquiries and on decks we have shared. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

Who helps us handle it

  • Web3Forms delivers form messages to our inbox.
  • Netlify hosts this website and stores enquiries in our private dashboard.
  • Beehiiv sends our newsletter.
  • Microsoft 365 runs our email.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, for example in the United States.

How long we keep it

Only for as long as we need it to reply to you and to carry out any work you book with us. We regularly delete enquiries we no longer need. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us at the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
